A: 28,350 square feet on a single level, with a 1,600 square-foot mechanical penthouse floor. That’s big enough to accommodate three airlines, three rental car vendors and counters, two gates and a future jetway. Outside, there's a convenient drop off area, free parking, and room to expand in the future if it's needed.

A: The terminal was built by local Cheyenne residents and tradespeople. The terminal was designed by Alliance, and the contractors were Q&D.

A: The terminal features 9,000 square feet of polished concrete floors; 6,155 square feet of cast stone veneers; 3,883 square feet of three types of wood veneers; 20,000 square feet of metal panel and wall and soffit veneers; 5,400 square feet of metal roofing; 24,200 square feet of membrane roofing; 5,200 square feet of exterior curtain wall and storefront windows; 500 square feed of frameless glass wall panels.

A: The old terminal was built over 50 years ago and had several operational problems. The rooms where people waited to board were based on the capacity of old turbo-prop planes. There were many other limitations, including no air conditioning and limited heating.
